What is Maker?

Maker (MKR) is a cryptocurrency platform based on Ethereum. The main goal pursued by the project is to create a line of decentralized virtual assets, the value of which is directly linked to the price of the means of the material world, such as fiat currency, base metals, etc. A project of this type has been called a "stablecoin" - a stable coin. Project Maker itself is a decentralized platform, fully independent.

There are two currencies in the system - Dai, which supports the standard ERC20, and, actually, Maker or MKR, through which the financing of the project occurs.
